Bridal party introductions are most often performed once the wedding party has arrived, right before dinner is about to start. The purpose of the Bridal Party Introduction is to introduce all of the guests to the members of the wedding party. In our market, it is usually the people seated at the head table that are introduced, but some weddings do introduce or recognize the Parents, Grandparents, Flower Girls, Ring-Bearers, Attendants and Ushers as well. Check with your clients to make sure who all will be introduced.
Ways of introducing Bridal Party Members
(Ladies First): Ms. First Last escorted by Mr. First Last
(Gentlemen First): Mr. First Last escorting Ms. First Last
When introducing the Bridal Party, do so in the reverse order. This is usually the same order that they walked down the aisle, announcing the Bride & Groom last.
Wait for each couple to make it halfway to the destination (head table, dance floor, etc) before announcing the next couple.
Use a different tag line for each couple “Here Comes”, “Let’s Hear It For”, “Next We Have”, and so on.
Use titles for the Best Man, Maid/Matron of Honor
When it comes to the Bride & Groom, wait for the last couple to reach their destination, then ask the audience to rise for the Bride & Groom.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, it is time for the Grand March! Let’s Make Some Noise!
First into the room are
