If you experience ANY technical difficulties, call the on-call manager ASAP to let them know about it, and to get help troubleshooting.

Often times, it is something that a quick fix can be walked through over the phone to get you back up and running.

NOTE:  DJ Trivia is done with PENCIL & PAPER for a reason.  It does not fail.

If the TV’s are not working, but you still have audio, YOU CAN STILL RUN THE GAME.

If the audio is not working, but you have the questions on the TVs, YOU CAN STILL RUN THE GAME.

Most problems arise from having an incomplete Trivia Kit. – Missing cables, incorrect adapters, etc.

Common problems & fixes:

• USB Mixer not working
  • Use an aux cable to go from the laptop directly to the speaker & plug the microphone directly into the speaker
  • OR – Route the system audio out the HDMI to the TVs for the music, and use the speaker & microphone completely separate
• TVs are showing the same thing as the laptop screen
  • Windows Key + P = Choose EXTEND Desktop
• Some or ALL of the TVs are blank / no-signal when switched to DJ Trivia
  • Double check that the 2nd display on the laptop (the TVs), is set to the resolution 1280×720.
    The laptop will want to default to 1920×1080, but not every bar has newer 1080p TVs.  Making sure the TV resolution is set to 720p (1280×720) will fix that.
